Combined Assessment Program Review of the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, White City, Oregon

The purpose of the review was to evaluate selected operations, focusing on patient care administration and quality management (QM). During the review, we provided crime awareness briefings to 297 employees. This review focused on five operational activities. The facility complied with selected standards in the continuity of care activity. The facility’s reported accomplishment was an extensive veteran Native American program. OIG made recommendations for improvement in the following four activities: QM. Management of test results. Physician credentialing and privileging. Environment of care.
