Summary
The purpose of the review was to evaluate selected operations, focusing on patient care administration and quality management (QM). During the review, we provided crime awareness briefings to 295 employees. This review focused on eight operational activities. The facility complied with selected standards in the following three activities: (1) coordination of care, (2) medication management, and (3) suicide prevention safety plans. The facility reported as accomplishments its community living center resident memorials and its use of a Behavioral Health Lab model. We made recommendations for improvement in the following five activities: QM. Physician credentialing and privileging. Reusable medical equipment. Environment of care. Magnetic resonance imaging safety.
