Combined Assessment Program Review of the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System Prescott, Arizona

The purpose of the review was to evaluate selected operations, focusing on patient care administration and quality management (QM). During the review, we provided crime awareness briefings to 326 employees. This review focused on six operational activities. The facility complied with selected standards in the physician credentialing and privileging activity. We made recommendations for improvement in the following five activities: QM. Environment of care. Coordination of care. Management of test results. Management of multidrug-resistant organisms.
