Summary

Summary
The purpose of the review was to evaluate selected operations, focusing on patient care administration and quality management (QM). During the review, OIG provided crime awareness briefings to 105 employees. This review focused on six operational activities. The facility complied with selected standards in the following three activities: (1) coordination of care, (2) medication management, and (3) QM. The facility’s reported accomplishments were increasing staff awareness of resource allocation and improving patient access to care in rural areas through the use of telehealth technology. OIG made recommendations for improvement in the following three activities: (1) colorectal cancer screening, (2) environment of care, and (3) polytrauma.
