Summary
The purpose of the review was to evaluate selected operations, focusing on patient care administration and quality management (QM). During the review, OIG provided crime awareness briefings to 75 employees. This review focused on six operational activities. The facility complied with selected standards in the following five activities: (1) continuity of care, (2) environment of care, (3) management of workplace violence, (4) QM, and (5) registered nurse competencies. The facility’s reported accomplishments were the development and implementation of a database dashboard to measure and monitor the facility’s clinical and business performance and the joint venture utilization management program with the 673rd Medical Group hospital. OIG made one recommendation for improvement in the physician credentialing and privileging activity.
